In Dredgehaunt Cliffs, outside and southwest the Dostoev Sky Peak the snow has a very odd glitch. What looks like lightning jumps between the snowflakes.

Attached is an image of the location. Unfortunately I was not able to take a picture of the effect itself despite how many screenshots I took, the lightning was too fast.

I was playing on lowest settings.

I am not in-game at the moment to go to that location, but I’m pretty sure that’s intentional. I don’t know what the reasoning is behind the lightning strikes in the middle of a snowstorm, but it doesn’t damage you and it’s a kinda cool effect. Maybe an NPC around there someplace alludes to it… I haven’t stopped to talk to anyone. Been around since the betas.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there were spots of heavier RAIN that included lightning strikes? Or better yet, if weather effects changed all over the world and not just in certain regions? Wouldn’t the occasional thunderstorm in LA be refreshing?
