Soloing dungeon problems
http://www.youtube.com/user/randomfightfan/videos?view=0&flow=grid
why are you soloing dungeons? its a MMO. you might as well go play diablo 3 witch, is meant to be able to be played alone.
Lol cause I’ve done all the dungeons 1000000000000000000000x with groups of 5 or less so now I’m soloing some for a better challenge. Also think about this out of your box. What is fun for you might not/no longer be (as) fun for someone else.

Because it’s fun.
That’s not the problem. The problem is that if you are not in a party and are in an instance, someone inviting you to party will kick you. This problem has been around for a while now and you can see it can be VERY annoying if you forget about it and get caught off guard.

what happens if you just ignore the invite/join and they get tired of trying and stop their queue to join you?
If u ignore it and it goes away, you get kicked

If they can’t see you, they can’t invite so set your contact to either away or invisible before you’re doing your things. Don’t bother waiting for w/ Anet to fix bugs because they will fix bugs according to their priorities. And don’t even bother to debate about their priorities.
It’s perfectly obvious why it isn’t being looked into: because dungeons are for groups. It’s ridiculous that people are complaining about this not being a priority for Anet. Soloing might be a fun way to show off some skills and add a challenge, but that’s not what they’re intended for, plain and simple.

people can still try to add you even if you’re set to away/invisible/offline. If you don’t believe me get a buddy to set his, press p, and type in his name

Ah, the life of famous people …
I would actually love if dungeons/fractals had well ballanced explorable solo paths. MMO’s have solo players too.
I love group play for sure, but I highly dislike that the progression made towards dungeon/fractal goodies is dependant on groups. Its absolutely unfair on solo players.

I’m sorry, but don’t you think the idea that anyone can kick someone out of a dungeon from anywhere is a bit of an issue, intended or not?

Reported this same issue month(s?) ago.
Shouldn’t this be in the bug forums?
