Guild Wars 2

Sometimes when I go to create a character, I’m unable to skip the intro (the one where you first enter into the world). The ‘skip intro’ button doesn’t even show up at all, so I have to close and reopen the GW2 client because I don’t feel like waiting what seems like a minute, to continue my progress :-/

It doesn’t happen ALL the time, but it is still extremely annoying.

Sometimes some cut-scenes can’t be skipped really, that’s normal I think. But I don’t know if it’s the case for you as I can’t recall how it is after character creation.

I think it is a bug – ive recently started 3 new chrs – 1st chr didnt have skip option and i assumed “oh anet changed the intro to unskippable” , 2nd chr same but the 3rd chr had skip option.Also just to clarify – all 3 chrs were created simultaniously and not made hours/days apart.
I seem to think that its not only hit on the first cutscene , as im sure ive had it a few times , once or twice on my main chr when doing personal story and once when i started battle for la and actually had the cutscene but no skip – think that was after anet fixed the cutscene due to many players not getting cutscene and others were.
