I have a Birthday Gift in my bank that I can’t open because it says it’s soulbound to another character but none of my current characters can open it?

I was wondering if there’s any way to open it or any way to know which character it came from because I must have taken the item from the mail on a character that I deleted which seems unfair that I can’t open it now

You can only destroy the item. The message, ‘Soulbound to another character’ only displays when said character the item is soulbound to has been deleted.
