Guild Wars 2

Me and a friend have had this start happening only recently. The game will do one of 2 things:

- Completely remove sound from the game, and crash/hand on attempting to close the game

- Remove all but distance sounds, or leave only a faint background noise (whoosh) + also hangs on attempting to close

I am on Windows 8.1
GW2 on SSD
Dual Monitor (windowed fullscreen)
GTX 680
4Gb 1666
G35 Headset + LGS software (maybe relevant?…this is only a game bug though)

Make sure your in-game audio settings, as well as OS settings support and match the type of audio device you are using.
