So basically, Southsun Survival is my favorite GW2 minigame. Unfortunately, recently it has been a little less fun due to a bug. I don’t understand EXACTLY what is going on with it, but from what I’ve heard, runes/sigils that do some sort of action have started to still be active while in Southsun Survival, which they shouldn’t be. So like I’ve seen a lot of people doing some icey attack thing that I guess is some move off a sigil or whatever. But the issue is that it slows other players, does a lot of damage, and even kills ghosts. Who are already dead. And if you get hit by it as a ghost, then you bug out and rather than being a little wispy orb moving around, you turn back into your character with the wispy trail following you, and you lose any motes you had. Plus, some players are intentionally abusing this bug to help them get kills and win the game.
Anyways, I’d just really appreciate it if you guys could look into this and just fix it to how it used to be? Thanks!
Genavelle: next time you see it happen, take a screenshot and send an email to exploits@arena.net (or create a support ticket and classify it as an exploit). Include the date/time as best you can recall.
I haven’t seen it myself, but since the new patch, I only play Survivor if I happen to pass by the NPC on the way to something else. So far, I haven’t noticed this.
