Southsun Survival is completely broken
Immobilization at the very beginning right beside a pile of supplies allowed someone to loot while we were both rooted, because she was just a little bit closer than I was. As soon as immobilize ended she killed me…
I don’t even care if that was because she was some bad kitten in better gear than me, it meant she started the game with an advantage. Set up random spawns around the map that are allotted to one player per spawn point. Make all spawn points equal in terms of supplies.
P.S. Why is this event affected by PvP stuff? Why not just give everyone a base level of stats and cut all traits out of the equation? This shouldn’t be something players have to compete/grind for out-of-event in order to be good at it.

1. There are two known bugs with the Immobilize at the start of the match:
a) There is a brief window of opportunity before the match starts where Immobilize disappears and everybody makes a mad dash for the gear around the fire, before being reapplied when Evon starts talking. It’s unknown whether this is an intended change, but originally everybody would be immobilized until Evon actually starts the match (“Survive!”)
b) If you move too far away from the fire at the start, you will not get the second Immobilize condition removed from you, resulting in 59 mins of Immobilize. There is nothing that can be done about this except either not moving too far away from the campfire at the start of the match, or just waiting for another player to kill you.
2. There is a bug where killed players do not drop their collected items when they are killed. This has been known for a while now but sadly it seems the Activities are low down the list of priorities for bug fixes.
3. PvP traits/food/runes/sigils should not be affecting characters in Activities. (There was a bug a while back that allowed runes/sigils to affect Activities, but this was patched.) I have not seen other PvP traits take effect so far. Are you saying that you saw traits actually working in Activities?
Please, fix that. The activity became unplayable.
I find it find to play still. Not sure how it’s “unplayable”
1) Immobilized condition works randomly in the beginning. You don’t have it while 10 seconds of timer and then SLAM 59 minutes as the game begins.
I’ve sometimes had less than 10s to start with, but never 59 minutes.
2) You don’t get loot when you kill someone. Isn’t looting corpses the point of this activity?
Loot? No, you’re not supposed to get any loot from a kill, just at the end (participation or victory). Do you mean are you supposed to be able to take the stuff from their corpse? Sure and that works fine, although I think you only drop about half your stuff. Once in a while, I’ve been killed without any supplies, so I don’t drop anything.
3) PvP build affects your character, granting regeneration and other stuff.
It’s a PvP mode and maybe they should do something about that, but so far, I haven’t found it’s made any difference in who wins, i.e. I’ve made it to 1st, 2nd, 3rd in competitive maps without any PvP buffs.
