Guild Wars 2

Right after the mail was received by members of my guild, we jumped over the Southsun and completed both the Story and Explorable modes of the new instance. Neither event provided a single reward except for an achievement. My understanding is that after the instance was added and all players received that 1 hour notice that the game had a new build – that rewards were added.

What is ANET doing to help (ie, reward) those that completed the instance prior to the new build notification?

If you check the patchnotes: there already was a fix for the problem. You’ll simply have to do the story mode again to get your reward for that.
The once per day rewards for the exploration mode however might be lost. I’m not entirely sure about that last part however.

That whole instance is annoying and now I have to do all that stuff again? It’s not like I have hours of free time to play. It wasn’t my fault they botched it but I’m going to have to redo this with the hopes of getting the reward – although I have read that some players are not getting any reward with the toon they took in the first place.
