I’ve always found the burning effects obscured most of the boss and made it difficult to watch for boss animations. The difficulty was firstly that the graphics were obscured and was secondly that it was kitten the eyes. After the last patch I’ve found that the spell affects are even greater and there are many blue flares as well as flame effects. These have resulted in poorer graphics performance and bosses being entirely obscured in a haze of spell effects. Human model bosses such as the statue of dwayna can entirely obscured for 75% of the fight and not only is it painful to watch, it is impossible to spot any combat animations.

Please tone down the spell effects or give graphics options to remove them. This could be a game breaker for me. My graphics setting are already mostly low and I have good performance in game until I come to spell effects.

I support your request. My fps are low enough to find watching boss animation difficult, those effect are making it even harder.

I’d like to see the character outline and ground target ring for the current target and current ‘called target’ (CTRL-T) shown permanently and on top of of all other effects.

Sometimes it’s hard for me to work out exactly where in the big white cloud of spell effects on a boss I should be placing my ground targeted attacks, especially on uneven ground.
