Guild Wars 2

As of right now (tested it 30+ times lol) In PVE open world content, doing the events in Kessex Hills everytime I have Stability on and become feared, or I am fear and use Stability/break stun skills the fear still goes on me and make me run away.

I have not tested it in pvp or wvw at all.

But after I notice I did ask the guild and friends to test this out as well, and sure enough they couldnt break the fear either.

Did you check the actual name of the condition? They have a bad habit of reusing status icons.

On the other hand I’ve yet to encounter anything that uses fear in Kessex …

• Stability does not cancel Fear, but prevents it (see your own topic)
• I use Stunbreak or condition removal to cancel fear and it works well

• Remember that some bosses (e.g. Jormag) who use FearScream multiple times in a row. like 3x within 3s.
