I recently gave a look at all my achievements, and when I looked at the weapon master, I saw I have 829 kills for the staff, and it seems to be the one with the most of kills.
The problem is my both first characters are engineer and ranger, so they don’t use staff, and my third one is a mesmer, and I used it only to get the 5 skills, then never used it anymore.

So, sice I almost never used any staff, I shouldn’t already reached the 3ht tier for this achievement. However, I don’t know what scored it.

Did you happen to do the “transformation” heart events a lot (Snow Leopard in Wayfarer, Pig in err… Kessex, I think?… Moa in ..err.. Sparkfly?, etc…). I know those are fun to grind, and I remember popping up a staff achievement during those when I was in another shape.

829 kills still sounds like heck of a lot for a few hearts. I find this interesting, because I too noticed an unusually high number of kills with a staff, on my... Guardian.

I mean sure, I probably did run a lot of dynamic events while wielding a staff, but a few thousands kills (up until recently a long leading achievement) sounds a little bit excessive...

Back then I just shrugged it off as "weird", knowing at least I’ve been actually using staff from time to time... Now I’m not so sure.
