Guild Wars 2

At the time of writing this I am attempting to complete this story quest, however I cannot deal damage to the ship. Whenever I press 1 to aim and choose where to fire and click on the ship, it always says that it is Out Of Range. I think that it’s ignoring the ship model and choosing the floor of the water behind it as I am able to see a green circle if I point my mouse cursor to the water in front of it. I also don’t get any red or green circle if I have the activated 1 ability over the ship.

Same deal here. Can’t fire no matter what I try. Always out of range.

seems like the aoe just ignores the ship, it’s aiming at the ground behind the ship when you hover over, which would be out of range.

Same issue here. Getting very frustrated b/c i cannot advance my story line so I can’t get to the x-pac content.

Also running into it as well. Tried aiming at the ground under the ship as well and the cannon just seems to fire into the cliff and explode right in front of me.

Under options:
Lock Ground Target at Maximum Skill Range

This looks to have been fixed. I am now able to see the green circle on the enemy ship and attack it.
