It works in a 3-4 second interval. Leaping once through Black Powder will reveal you once the stealth is over.
If you blast stealth or use a refuge it will reveal 3-4 seconds in but not actually reveal you to the enemy like leaping once does.

Memser stealth skills also affected by this bug. Stealth nerf to stealth FTW!

Wow.. just walking and i lose stealth with time still on it. Not to mention I get the automatic reveal debuff.

next patch: “Thiefs removed from the game”, Anet cant even do stealth patch right why even bother, too lazy to even test changes on problematic class it will be easier to just remove it. Its rly fun when they just break 1 class and not even single DEV care about all players that try to play on this “kitten” right now.
List what to break next:
Shortbow 5: make in unsuable in pvp/pve/wvw=already broke
Shortbow 2: better nerf dmg to 0 make split for 8 initiative
Backstab: nerf dmg to 0, punish thief with 10sec debuffs for not landing it
Stealth: never longer than 2 sec=already done
Delete thiefs: soon=work in progress
It’s one bug that is going to be fixed in the morning because devs are dreaming of killing Thieves in PvP, chill.

Confirmed, with the thief’s wall after 4 sec of stealth you get revealed, while with shadow refuge players are revealed when the shadow disappear…
So bad to play a thief atm
Every time a patch hits we end up with a bunch of bugs that seriously takes its toll on us to get fixed, this is really not a professional way to do things. Now i cant play any of my favorite classes with the broken stealth and forced reveal after second pulse which makes things plain stupid, and i actually lost a couple of matches thinking that i was doing something wrong.
We do not need new content if its not ready and not tested.

Anyway, back to topic: confirmed – happens also in PvE. And mesmer stealth destroys my stealth as well.
ETA: Also I’m revealed after having been stealthed – without having hit anything.

Yes, i can confirm that. The time you have in Stealth gets reduced by Revealed every 3-4 seconds… Really uncomfortable as a thief!!! Please fix it very soon!
Can Confirm, Use smoke screen and blast for dungeons and pistol 5 for now as a work around
Yeah just tested this again after seeing a small patch get loaded, but it’s still revealing you even out of combat without hitting anything after about 4 seconds. Very important fix a-net! Don’t wanna play either of my mains (thief and mes) right now :\

Ye thiefs so strong in pvp right now. 2 sec Wont be enough to close distance to kitten Pew Pew ranger and if you never played thief (what can i easily say from ur post) Rangers only need to drop 2/3 skills to kill thief. 4/2/5 and thief is dead.
Devs will need probably another month to fix it. RiP thiefs for now…
Permastealth → annoying but harmless why punish every stealth users for stealth when they already have LOWER hp POOL lower survi cuz they HAVE to use stealth to not die in 1 sec. Isnt it just better to change Game Name to Warrior Wars 2 make everyone play warrior cuz its best class in game, most simple, great dmg, great cc,insane survi,tons of viable builds in both pvp/pve, when players sacrifice thier survi for sneaky attack they get NINJA PATCHED to the point every enemy when sees invis just needs to double roll – invis ends/no next in 4sec hes dead.
