The official word was to wait for the TP to come back up. Been 3 days, nothing happened. Had a ticket in and no response. I know I am not the only one either, a lot of gold is missing cause of the broken TP, update us!

never was on the TP but my gold went missing too! put a small amout in the guild bank then checked my inventory, and noticed all but a few silver was left. where did the rest of my gold go? will i get it back?is this game worth putting in hours of game play and then loosing all you earned?

I’ve had this happen since release, now I just put it all in the bank in case it happens again. Annoying, but arenanet won’t give your gold back. Sometimes you’re lucky and it will be there in pickup.

My advice, keep gold in the bank (carry with you somewhere between 1-2g) and don’t keep spamming the “buy now” or “order now” button in TP when it’s lagging. This seems to be the primary reason why this is happening.

p.s. Sometimes when I do accidentally press “buy now” too often and it fails, now I get my money back as if it was a drop (you can see the silver icon on the right). I think this is the failsafe option arenenet implemented after it happened to so many people. Seems like it’s not entirely fixed yet.
