First, let me state that I’m not sure this is a bug; so I apologize in advance if the behavior described below is normal.

I’ve recently been experimenting a PvP warrior build, using the grandmaster trait “Last Chance”, which provides Quickness (4s) when we strike a foe below 50% (CD 40s). As the build is resolutely high damage (with high risk), I often find myself downing players and starting the stomp while still in Quickness.

The stomp animation is hurried, as a result of the Quickness. However, the stomp itself is not – meaning I always have to wait for the normal stomp duration before the opponent is effectively killed. Is that the expected behavior?

I think the is unexpected. It is more of a visual glitch then anything.

Hello. Thank you for your answer. The thing is, I remember using Frenzy, near two years ago, to effectively speed up the stomp (then giving it up, because that was too much of an investment for a utility skill slot). This means that stomping with Quickness is no longer possible, then?

Yeah, quickness hasten the animation, but not the stomp itself (however it used to be that way in the past if I’m not mistaken, quickness used to make stomp faster). So it’s most probably just graphical bug, remain of the functionality in the past

Hmm, that’s weird. I could have sworn that originally Quickness speeds up stomps as well. (It’s how I got the achievement for stomping Scarlet. Frenzystomp FTW.)
