Stop Treating us Hardcore gamers as Bots
Seconded. Bad form to impose measures that hurt loyal players but are only a minor inconvenience to those bent on breaking the rules. They will find a way around it, while the rest of us are still screwed.
This hasn’t changed from the first GW. ANet doesn’t care if you’re a bot or a real player, farming is frowned upon.
So they want me to come upon a bank filled with jute one day weeks down the road instead of taking a few hours and dedicating it to get the mats I want so that I can craft the way I want?
My only problem is the diminishing returns on dynamic events. Considering dynamic events are a large point of the game, what is the point of making them less effective?
i find your use of the term “hardcore” amusing, but i digress.
farming is obviously something they don’t want in the game, and that’s why the anti-farm code is there. bots get banned, not punished with code. but players found creative ways to farm in GW1, despite the measures, and ANet never tried to stop those new ways.
so instead of complaining that the game is working against you (which, in this case, means the game is working as intended), try and find a creative way to farm. hell, you don’t have to be creative. just move to another zone.
