Hi!
I finished the last mission in the Victory or Death chapter of the Personal Story today, but the story journal didn’t update. Usually, after every other personal story mission, a small blurb appears after you finish the mission so give you a summary of the story. I love the lore and story in this game, so I was really excited to read it. Right now, it just shows the blurb for the second last mission – The Steel Tide.
I went into Arah dungeon, played through story mode, talked to everyone in the instance of Fort Trinity, and watched the credits roll. I got the Savior of Tyria achievement and the reward chests for finishing the Victory or Death chapter, so I’m pretty sure I did everything I was supposed to.
After completing the last objective in the last mission, the story journal automatically went to episode 7 of the Living World Season 2, which I hadn’t played yet. I unlocked the first few episodes of the Living World Season 2 a few days ago since I wanted to play them in order. I’m not sure if that affects the story journal blurb. I even tried doing a few objectives in episode 1 and episode 7 of the Living World Season 2, but the story journal still didn’t update for the personal story.
