Hey, I just attempted to do the Personal Story event called “Temple of the Forgotten God” The beginning went fine, I activated the first shrine and defeated the mob, got the essence and took it to its corresponding spot, Almost the same deal with the second one but as I was on my way back to the spot to put the essence some enemies spawned, well a Risen shark just destroyed me (Seriously, sharks need to be looked at, they are crazy powerful) when I respawned I found that I was unable to recover the essence needed to continue and that I cannot re activate the shrine event, so I am stuck and cannot advance further, this is the second time this has occured.

I just completed the instance. What you need to do when you kill the second and subsequent mobs – don’t pick up the essence straight away. Go along the path to the orb so you can be ambushed by the sharks, then go and pick up the essence and take it to the orb. This stops you from loosing the essence.
