Guild Wars 2

As the title says. Strafing right always moves to the right in a foward direction, as it should. But the second I try to reverse directions and strafe left I simply run backwards. Is this intended or an animation bug?

have you checked that your keybinds are correctly set? ie mixed right with back

My keybinds are fine. Though I need to add that it happens after using an ability while strafing. So intially using strafe left or right works fine until I use an attack while strafing. Then strafe left gets borked and I start moving backwards.
