I have been having the problem lately, of getting stuck inside siege, if I am assisting building it when it is completed. I have noticed it only happens, if for whatever reason I am “inside” the object. But it is frustrating to not be able to move, until I use a skill that forces movement or use a dodge.

Secondly.. please please oh please fix the lag in WvWvW, when zergs collide. Not being able to use any skills is just ridiculous.

1. The hot-fix is using a weapon-swap, or use a skill(sometimes). Else you can wait 10 seconds(if no enemy is near.)

2. About skill delay/lag, it’s a server side issue. The servers cannot handle that amount and therefore the lag of skills. You can say like this “EXTREMELY POOR EXAMPLE” take 100 bombs, and let them explode in your game. All the particles in a poorly made engine, will make the game lag like hell for the next couple of seconds. If you make it render the things you actually see, there will be less particles to render blah blah. As I said, POOR EXAMPLE!.

In this case, it’s more about the ppl in the render area. Where they’re moving, what they do, (skills etc.) if you stand inside AoE, if enemy moved in AoE, is he defeated? You name it, But I agree, there should be something done about it, but for now this is mostly the reasons why.

Another example (STILL VERY POOR EXAMPLE!)

  • 50v50, can damage with 5 AoE cap
  • 50*49*48*47*46*45/1*2*3*4*5
  • The following is how many ways can you hit 5 ppl of 50.
  • it’s 95344200, ways to hit them.
  • The following is not optimal for a game. The game would use something like this with the cap, random 5 ppl from these 50. If you get the same person twice, find another person that is not in the “damage from AoE list”. Do that until you have maxed the AoE cap. This is the fastest and the quickest way.
  • To make it a more easier way to say what I mean, take this example, if I have to choose a number between 0-100, and I get to know if it’s to high or too low, I will start with 50, if it’s higher or lower, I will chose 25, or 75. instead of going from 0,1,2,3 etc. If the number I was looking for is 25. I will complete this cycle in 2 turns, with the selection of 50, and then 25, but if I go from 0,1,2,3 etc. I will have to go 25 steps, taking much longer time.
  • As I said the numbers example is a very poor example.

It’s not the best way to say that, but you get the idea (I hope.) it’s a lot of stuff to calculate in a 50v50 fight.
