Stuck in the tower

Open your map and lower your map level to Kessex Hills (the icon looks like two stacked diamonds on the lower right side of the Map UI, by the map zoom controls) and you should be able to travel to any Waypoint in Kessex Hills.

I found another workaround. Go to WvW/PvP and use the asura portal back to Lion’s Arch.
