I really appreciate the response to this thread. Is there any ETA on when you expect/hope this to be fixed?
As in, is there any possibility of the PvP team to update us regarding the findings of their investigation?

I’m only asking because I’m genuinely considering buying a second copy of the game, so I can get back into tournaments, but don’t wanna “waste” my money if it’s within 48 hours or so.

I wouldn’t jump to buying a new account just yet, I’d say it’s pretty likely that this will be fixed within 48 hours. Possibly even right now!

Right now tournaments are not working but im not in queue for the infinite game anymore.

So i guess it’s probably fixed.. we will know when tournaments are up again.

I confirm that I’m unstuck. Suddenly a window popped up saying “roster not found” and pvp icon re-appeared. I would like to thanks Tots for the efforts put into this tricky matter and ANet for not abandoning us.

Can we please get this sorted out now, A-net. I think we can all agree that some form of communication from your end as to what you believe the issue is, when it will be resolved and that it is actually being worked on or not is in order. Sitting here having no idea, is simply not acceptable.

I have only encountered this bug once, and it only persisted for an hour.

I have also contacted gw2 support (not regarding the tornmanet bug), and they seem to treat most people this way. They don’t explain anything, they don’t say ‘we will get back to you when the issue is fixed’, or anything. They basically write something like this ‘Sorry to hear about your problem. We are sorry. We haven’t been able to determine what happened and we don’t have the tools remedy the situation. Sorry.’

And occasionally they tell you you are lying.

I find it VERY unacceptable that they force you to reconfigure your computer / run as admin / alter firewall settings / and the like. And very unacceptable that contacting support is just a waste of time.

Been in this tournament roster for 40 hours now, won’t let me leave the team. Wouldn’t let me join the game when it popped either, think it happened when the tournament map swapped over and now it’s bugged. Would be nice for an ANet dev to read this thread and fix it again, sent a ticket in game but they don’t get back to you. All I do in this game is tournaments so I’m at a bit of a loss
