Awhile back, I accidentally got my Order of Whispers character stuck on the Vigil’s storyline track by accepting one of my guildies storyline instances without thinking. Causing her to be given Vigil missions instead of Order of Whispers ones. When I asked for help, I was assured that I was infact a member of the Order of Whispers but would need to play the Vigil’s story until the study a lesser race story arch where I could jump back onto the correct storyline by joining and accepting the storyline of an Order of Whispers member. Unfortunately, while waiting my guild mate to level his OoW character to the appropriate storyline, we got this update.
My question is, with the new storyline set up, is this even still possible? Or am I doomed to just continue to play my Order of Whispers member as a Vigil girl for the rest of the story?

The update only affected Chapters 7 and 8. Also, there’s no need to join and accept the storyline of an OoW member—unless you follow the storyline of another player’s Order again, things will return to your default Order storyline once you complete the current chapter.
