Stuck on Prologue: rally to Maguuma
I have same issue, stuck on Prologue with my main and can not re enter it again. My friend had same issue with one of his character too. I have sent report many times and nothing happened, arena.net kitten on this Same as in tons of other issue, Anet kittens on their customers….
It is annoying because i have bough HoT and CAN NOT go that stories with my main :-/
Anet, wanna finally fix it or sent us some workaround or way how to reset that cripled story?!

“Fixed an issue where players were losing storyline UI if they crashed or were logged out during the first chapter Prologue: Rally to Magma.”
Unfortunately as I can saw it still has not been fully fixed in Nov :-/
so…..no one can help us ?

Zoning from Silverwastes to Verdant Brink it’s impossible because the portal is locked (see my screen above).
Anyway I don’t know how or why but I had unlocked the waypoint at Verdant Brink; I was with another player and I helped him to complete the other two mission after.
So, I restarted the mission even in Verdant Brink but nothing

did not help :-( Tried it more times, use WP or walk between locations and nothing helped.
Still same for me bugged in there since a few hours after hot launch .

ArenaNet, please fix this kittenup or reset us this bugged stories! There are a lot of people who STILL have bugged characters and you do nothing. You ignore your customers, do not reply to bug reports, do not nothing. It is not professional. Are you waiting for more screens? More bug reports? Or what? Or you simply do not believe that it still could be bugged? Yes, it is… Do you need account/character name?

The CS Team responds to every ticket; if you are not getting responses, have you checked your spam and junk folders? Did you create new tickets each time? If so, although you will still get the automated response email, it will put your issue at the back of the queue. You can post your (original) ticket number in the Sticky, ‘Tickets for Review 3 Days and Older’, if you have had no response after 72 hours.
As the Bug Report window clearly states, you will garner no response if you are only submitting in-game Bug Reports. As stated above, if you desire a reply, create a ticket.

I’m in the same limbo and I have read of others who are in the same shoes. I really do hope we get some attention. Thanks for creating this post since we need some exposure to this problem. gw2 support tried to help me with different procedures (deleting gw2 cache) but it turned out to be hours of troubleshooting which did not fix the issue.

You will not receive a response when using the in-game bug report feature.
Please see the attached images for steps on how to request assistance directly.
OK, good to know that using in-game support form is not a good idea, so i will submit new ticket from web.
I opened a ticket from web, quick response; try this:
Please try activating any other story, leaving to WvW or the PvP lobby and try deactivating the prologue. If you are in an instance please try auto-kicking you by walking out of the bounds.

There is a patch coming up really soon that is supposed to be fixing this
Another thing: with another level 80 character you can unlock the mastery system for the other characters.
I can’t test it with myself because I’m leveling up my “Second-in-command”.
Anyway, better than nothing!

Hope that would be fixed. Behemoth event which was bugged seems fixed today.
Yes, you can unlock masteries by other characters. Better than nothing but i would like do all that stories with my main best playing character to open other mastery lines which depends on stories.
Yes, you can enter jungle by two workarounds – way for all is “teleport to friend” gizmo. Other is use Gilded Hollow if your guild has it. Both workarounds works, you can open at least WP on map.
But without tons of masteries you can not explore the jungle because with that new masteries system you can not do anything without ton of points to open all that stuff… Without that kitten you can not do any step in other maps than VB which are constantly closed and no one there… So you have to do stories and really need to fix that crippled story.
After the patch I finally completed the mission, and I can use the masteries.
Not after patch, but it seems that key is in “auto-kicking you by walking out of the bounds.” – i have switched to other story, go to instance, auto kick out and voila, after swtich back to prologue green str sudenly appeared…
