Guild Wars 2

Happened several times today on different characters in different zones, the loading screen stuck on even though I could hear the zone active. Really irritated since it lost me a PvP match as well.

Still occurring, please fix asap-it’s really obnoxious having to restart the game at the start of a pvp match.

Whilst awaiting a reply, you could try a -repair of the client (instructions found in the Knowledge Base accessed via the same link).

Not sure its the client – I’ve just failed to get past the loading screen numerous times on two different avatars with my being kicked out the game repeatedly and told that there is a network error when no such error is apparent on hardware or modem.

I can’t start the game. Usually, when I start it, my screen goes black for about 10 seconds. This time, it gets stuck on the black screen such that I need to ctrl+alt+delete for task manager and cannot do anything else on my computer unless I forceably shut down gw2 :c

Still happening, despite updates since this was posted. Will try solutions above.
My problem is that the loading screen will stay on screen even when it’s apparent from sound and other cues that the character has actually loaded into the area.
