Not sure if this has been discussed before or not, but either way it needs to be addressed.
I have noticed that most, if not all stunbreakers simply fail to work if used in the air, or during the knockback animation phase.
This is painfully annoying in the new AC, as classes without reliable stability ( I’m looking at you, engineer. T_T ) have less of an opportunity to prevent the knockdown, and are required to stunbreak after the knockback.
What is really sad about this effect, is that it punishes those with a quicker reaction to the stun. If we attempt to break it right away, we risk putting our stunbreaker on cooldown, without actually breaking the stun. (With the average cd of stunbreakers, this is not a good option)
The reliable way to break a stun, is to wait for the end of the of the animation. However, this wastes time, especially as the point of a stunbreaker is that it’s supposed to be instant!
The worst I’ve seen is Elixir S / Mist Form, carrying the knockdown THROUGH the transformation, and being stunned in place. (NOT immobilize, the skills will show a timer like a stun)
This happens from the same reason, the stun was attempted to be broken too early, but the transformation occurred.
Any word if this is going to be fixed? Or are we going to have to wait until the ‘correct’ moment to break a stun….
