It’s been the case over several zones now, on the Desolation server. Currently in Sparkfly Fen and the last couple of zones have had only bugged escort quests. I’ve been doing the zones starting with the lowest and going up from there, you should be able to tell which ones were the last ones for me, if even its a matter of zones.

The bug that happens during those escort quests is that the NPCs stand still at a certain point and there’s no progress, ever. All over the maps I found escort quests with NPCs just standing around, doing nothing, while the objective said “escort xx to yy”.

After coming back an hour later, it was still the same.

Coming to think of it I found also a couple of quests where I needed to defend certain places, but no attackers spawned, ever. It stayed like that for hours (ever) as well.

Either its a problem with Desolation server or otherwise with the game. I can’t tell if it was suddenly broken after a certain patch, or after a certain zone, since it was suddenly just like that.

It’s pretty annoying and requires an emergency fix IMHO.

Same thing has happened on Ehmry Bay server. There are a few events that have been frozen in the same place for 2 days.

I hope this gets more visibility.

I’m on Yaks Bend and I haven’t been able to do any skill challenges in the 4 zones I have played today, as you guys have found as well Escort quests also seem to be broken.

Both types of event just seem to be frozen.

Managed to fix one of them today. if you can drag mobs to the escort people so that they die it resets the escort.. I just did this for one in the straits and got it working again
