Hey,

now im playing with Lyssarunes in PvP and i experienced, that they dont work properly all the time.

for example when i want to get the boons to stomp someone and i start stomping instantly after casting my elite i get the buff for my basilisk venom but the boons and conditionremove wont come.

it feels like there is a ~0.1 sec window the effect takes to pop in.

would be great if that could be removed or fixed~

I didn’t have a problem with that, my problem with the runes is that it doesnt activate at all with my Lich Form. With the Flesh Golem it activates as it should. It may have a problem with all transformation skills this needs to be looked into.

Are you using the Quick Venoms trait as well?
There is actually an unlisted kitten CD on (6) of the Lyssa runes.

Lyssa runes also don’t work underwater at all, no condition removal, no boons.

I tried them with Plague Form and they worked. Maybe they just have some special bug with Lich Form

Make sure you have a rune in your rebreather. When you’re underwater, it will replace your helmet with the rebreather, so if it’s only in your helm, you won’t get the 6 rune bonus.

Speaking of this, can we please put a rune on there by default in sPvP? And fix the display of which rune bonuses we get when we put a rune on both the breather and the helm?

In PvE and WvW it’s impossible to attach a superior rune to a water breather due to the fact that it’s impossible to obtain a rebreather with a higher rarity than Masterwork, which only accepts minor runes. Oversight, perhaps?

This is just straight up not true, you can put Superior Runes in Masterwork Breathers. I’ve done it on several occasions. Runes are level based, are you sure you have the proper level breather?

You definitely can apply any rune on a masterwork mask as long as it is a high enough level.. lol
