Superior Sigil of Blood Bugged
!!! I had no idea sigil of blood was so badly bugged.
5 second cool down does feel more right (meaning that’s what it seems like I’ve observed)
I’m not so sure it doesn’t work on 2-handed weapons, though. I’ll have to isolate it with my shortbow and test it. when I have paid attention, I do usually notice small jumps in health, but it’s possible that’s from another source.

The “bug” could be the tooltip or the duration of the cooldown. If the wiki says its cooldown is currently 5s, then you should decide if that is a deal breaker for you or not. You should be able to salvage and sell it, recovering most of your original investment.
I’ve got the same problem on my dual pistol Engineer. No idea what the cooldown is because it doesn’t seem to proc at all. Can’t afford to salvage it really because I just don’t have the spare gold lying around to replace the exotic pistol or the sigil if the salvage fails. Just going to have to run without a second sigil until this gets fixed.
The sigil definetly procs on bows, that is to say I definetly get the heal from it but I am not sure whether this bug report on wiki means it doesn’t actually remove the health from your target aswell or not but the heal to you is absolutely there.
I wish I would have known it was bugged before I put one in my greatsword and my rifle. After I read about it being bugged, i figured what the heck and changed it to a major sigil, and still nothing. Bums me out. Lots of gold down the drain.
I’m now trying to test the Sigil of Superior Blood on the Mists target golems when at 100% health myself, but cannot get it to proc at all when wielding only one dagger. I can see Fire and Air sigils proc and the damage reported in log, but nothing for Blood. Do I need to be in less than 100% health for the life steal damage to proc at all?
I’d like to know if this is fixed. It seems the bug was recently removed from the wiki. Can anyone confirm that it is indeed working now? Thanks.
I don’t think it is, I tried it in orr, and immediately replaced it.

they should remove all the cool downs and lower the chance to proc…or they could go the other way and say every 6s this weapon steals health…thats almost what this looks like to me little chance and major times between procs…
and yeah ive noticed the blood sigils didnt proc very often at all and i crit quite a lot…plus the healing from it is garbage…buff it or have players stop using it in favor of the sigil of life or steal health on swap
