I’ve been getting the “suppressed due to excessive messaging” for 30 minutes now, it started after I said “do u wanna build a snowman”
What’s up with this? I can’t type anything now.

It isn’t a bug but it’s a horrible implementation to help prevent spam.

Here’s how it works:

Once you trip the ‘suppressed message’ point, each additional message you attempt to send that gets suppressed doubles the duration of your suppression. I don’t know how long the base duration is, and this isn’t communicated at all in any way, which makes this whole system abominable.

I think it doesn’t double the duration, but more of reset it – like the error attempting to sell.
and the duration is somewhere around 1-2 hours.
So if you try to talk again during that time, it resets the timer for another 1-2 hours.
what’s funniest is when absolutely zero other people have said anything before your timeout is over – meaning there was no reason to suppress you in the first place.
