According to the Trait Sweet Revenge, when in Vengeance mode, if you kill someone, you can rally. This does not work. I have killed mobs multiple times on Vengeance mode and have still died from it. Has anyone else had this problem?

• It was mostly in Ascalonian Catacombs that it would not work.

From my experience “sweet revenge” don’t work every time. I think it’s 80-90% chance to rally. Sometimes i had to kill 2 (once 3) mobs to rally successfully.

The thing is that not all “mobs” count as such in case of rallying from vengeance. Killing things like turrents, banners, minions, summoned enemies etc don’t count for vengeance, although they rally you when downed.

In case of AC maybe it’s because mobs you kill are minions or are summoned by other mobs.

Hmmm… The thing about the minions not counting seems plausible, but I tried using Sweet Revenge on Chanters in Fractals of the Mist and mobs in citadel of flame and both have failed to rally me.

A good rule of thumb to go by: If it’s a mob that never drops loot you can’t rally off of it. Same applies for sigil stacks.

‘Fodder’ mobs like this are pretty frequent as minions, or part of events and such.

I don’t believe they give XP either (I haven’t paid attention).

Oh…Thanks. I guess since it won’t work about 90 percent of the time I need it. I just going to get rid of it
