I recently was playing missions with a friend. We are both playing Charr but have been picking different paths. When it came to choosing which order we picked different also. I picked the Order of Whisper and he chose the Order of Vigil. When playing the next mission it asked if I wanted to continue my story at the end his (it was the meeting in LA). I figured it was just a cut scene more or less so I accepted. After it changed my order to Vigil instead of Whisper.

From what I understood once an order was picked it was permanent. As of now I can see no way to change back.

Nylus: There is a hotfix for this known bug – you just need to find another player who is in the Order you originally chose and who is at the same point you were when things jumped track.

Party with them for their next mission and at the end choose accept progress again – you will be back on that Orders storyline. The trick will be finding someone who isn’t too far ahead of where you were up to, ask around in mapchat at LA, DR, or the Order HQ.

Since this may take a while, maybe a idea to note down which mission you were up to so you don’t forget while searching.
