Guild Wars 2

After I’ve started my guardian and exit the start scene, I’ve traveled to the bank and stayed there for a long time. Now i’m lvl-ing my guardian but my personal story line is stopped at Speak with Mender Aviala. It says to be completed, but does not go forward to the next objective.
What am i missing here?

Update: retalked to Mender Aviala and she still needs the Troll salve. Normally you get guidance to it but that isn’t working. Looked at the specified area and couldn’t find it on my own and wiki doesn’t say where it is. Restarting, relogging and remapping doesn’t solve.

I’ve reported this same bug approximately 3-4 times now with no fix yet. I thought it might of been because I created a character just before the big patch or perhaps a specific storyline choice (the moon) is now broken in someway or one of the other choices made during character creation? Regardless my storyline has remained “broken” & have been “unable to progress” as a result.

Even when I’ve tried going through the same storyline with a friend, that doesn’t help either. For some reason most players can progress while others simply cannot whatsoever. A very strange bug indeed. I pretty much gave up on hopes that this will be fixed anytime soon. I now have a level 80 Sylvari that can’t even access her own level 10 personal storyline…. only 1 reaction for that>> LoL.

Always nice to hear that you’re not alone with this bug!
I hope it gets fixed sometime, but i’m not thinking of restarting this character. Hopefully ANET can restart the storyline itself to some previous state so I can move on.

I’m also having this issue, and there are a couple of other threads floating around posting about the same issue, so you are definitely not alone. Anet has commented in the other threads that they are working on it so they are aware of the problem. At this point, all we can do is wait.
