TA blossoms - warrior bug
Can confirm, trying to shoot the flowers gives, “obstructed” message.
yep same here only with rifle
Same with pistols. So frustrating.
Same with mesmer staff. I think this is a profession-wide issue.

Hi everyone.
Thanks for bringing this bug to our attention. We proceed to move the thread to the subforum Game Bugs since it seems more fitting there than here.
Same bug is happening when i try to use the “1” skill in the air attunement for a staff elementalist. Seems to work in some parts of the dungeon, but bugged in other parts.
Same issue with Necro Staff 1, and well, any other staff ability (They don’t set off marks, which they should). As well to add to the annoyance, conditions do nothing (bleeds specifically) to objects like this accross the game making you have to hit 2-3 times with scepter to down one, where a Thief for example can take out 3 with one shot of an arrow.
Also bugged for Thief pistols, but I’ve found that they are hittable only from a certain angle. Shortbow has no trouble at all, though.
Indeed, the mesmer staff doesn’t work so well against the blooms, but the sceptre has no problems. I’ve also noticed, in general, that the staff will get random “obstructed” or “out of range” misses on other targets as well. Possibly it’s an issue with how all of these weapons determine line of sight/pathing?
Engineers have the same issue with most all weapons and kits outside of Grenade and flamethrower.
This is basically a hit box issue across many objects across all professions. Some professions can’t hit blossoms with their ranged weapons, some bow users can’t hit burrows, I can’t hit a simple road block (log) with daggers. For some of these things, you have to dance around it until you can hit it at a certain spot. It’s frustrating and there is no natural feel in trying to hit these objects. The temporary solution now is to use a weapon that can hit these objects more efficiently. For example, I don’t like using the staff on my guardian much, but I bring it in TA explorable because it literally sweeps a line of blossoms flawlessly.
