But seriously, selling anything on the trading post just gives and error. I thought it was just me, so I rebooted the game, didn’t fix. Asked in guild and map chat and others were having the same problem. Can’t sell anything at the TP at the moment. No information though, all we get is [Error: there was an error.]

An error has occurred. Slightly relieved it’s not just me. Happens across all my characters, tried deleting temp folder, clearing cache, running as admin, etc. I can buy and pick up without any issue. Just can’t sell anything.

Same, was going to start a thread. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon.

The same issue – can’t send mail and TP error

Yep if I want to sell something i get a red screen saying a error has occured

Getting the same error message on the TP here aswell

you mean the same lack of error. If we got a mention of a description, or an error code, we could post it and anet could work with it.
This error is just as usefull as:
Process has failed successfully.

On my EU account I can’t sell on the TP and I can’t send a message. On my NA account however everything works fine. Maby some nasty bug feasted on the TP/Mail cables in EU ;-)?

I can confirm that i could sell 1 item. After that i get the error non stop.
Lets hope the team gets aware of this sooner rather than later as its been going on for quite a while now.

Over 11 hours down already.

For some reason then gems as purchases arent going through. I’ve checked to make sure it isn’t my card, but it is being authorised elsewhere so I’m guessing there might be issues on the GS then that might need looking into?

I suspect that may be related to another mail system problem that other ppl have already reported, but who knows.

During the last couple of days, some people have been buying Karka Shells like crazy, making the price rocket to 20 silver/unit. Maybe there is some correlation between that and the lockdown.

No worries we dont need the TP guys!

GW2 is perfectly designed to allow for easy farming things for gear!

The TP went down for maintenance just as soon as I has started to sell an entire inventory full of items I had just crafted. This on the very day I happened to decide to level a second jeweler. What impeccable timing.

I wanted to say I passed this along directly, and the Customer Support team is working with our provider to investigate this issue. Thank you for the report.

We were aware of some sort of quirk with the in-game mail delivery system, but whether they are connected or not, we’ll get this sorted.

The issue has been sorted. Looks like when i tried to buy gems, something flagged back to the bank who blocked digital river purchases for me but not elsewhere.
