There are 20 things that count as ‘food’ and they’re all alcohol, not food.

The subcategories in the Consumables filter are:
All
Food
Generic
Transmutation
Unlock

Of those categories, there are two that have anything in them. All which is default… and Food. The others are worthless because there are no generic consumables, the transmutation ones could be event skin drops or some potions/tonics, and there are no unlocks that can be sold.

How about we get some subcategories like
Dyes
Food (with food in it please)
Buffs: Potions, tonics, oils, crystals, and other boosters
Skins – which along with some potions should be in transmutations category

We have a daily that wants food but searching for food you have to scroll through potions, drinks, dyes, and everything else in the ALL subcat. of Consumables to get to the actual food items.

Please work on your information architecture ( or hire me ).
I realize that you’re just parsing a database category list, but really? a lot of those subcategories and regular categories can’t even be traded. e.g. Gathering

Container(all, default, gift box), Gizmo(all, default, salvage), Tool ([[crafting]], salvage)
Container has bag drops(loot), armor satchels, and a charr backpack and under gift box it has unidentified dyes. All of those things should be under a subcategory in Consumables.
Gizmo has nothing in it.
Tool has nothing in it.

The “filter” is overly confusing and should definitively be cleaned up soonish. Some quick thoughts that have come to me over the past year:

• [[Crafting]] sounds like a development category, why is it still there so long after launch?
• “Trinket” category isn’t self-explanatory – why aren’t rings, accessories and amulets with the other non-weapon equipment?
• “Gizmo” is also very ambiguous – it’s a category for mechanical devices for which you’ve forgotten the actual name?
• “Gathering” – why isn’t this part of the “Tool” section? Moreover, why can you sell items that can be bought from just about any vendor where a Black Lion Trading representative can be found for peanuts?
• “Bag” – why isn’t this a subcategory to “Container”?

In addition could we filter armor by light/medium/heavy.

Oh, yes. So much this. I hate sifting through pages of armor I cannot use just because I want to find some new, cheap and efficient armor for my newly-leveled character.

Be grateful weapons aren’t just sorted by 1h or 2h.
