Sea of Sorrows server, the meta event in Bloodtide Coast at Laughing Gull Island has been stuck at “The Lionguard are preparing to attack Laughing Gull Island and Taidha Covington” for over 12 hours.

Bill, Hekja and Jenny aren’t on the island and there are no risen.

There was a long delay, maybe fifteen minutes, between Bill and Hekja leaving the island and finding and resurrecting Lionguard Jenny so she could leave, at which point she walked through a wall and I lost sight of her. (Wall in question attached.)

Not sure whether she was downed for the duration of the “Protect Bill and Hekja as they clear Risen from the area” event or not.

Hopefully you were not sitting on the Island for 12 hours So assuming you have killed the Risen boss at the bottom of the ship on the island, I hope you made sure all 3 NPCs ran off the island to the west and disappeared in the water. Perhaps only 2 of 3 escaped?

Taking from the wiki;
If they stay on the island, however, the same aforementioned event will repeat itself shortly afterwards, thus not starting the meta event.

Then if I were you I would leave the island and wait by the keep to the east, after my group got all 3 NPCs clear and they disappeared in the water we waited by the keep, it took about 15-20 mins but the event did spawn, we just took turns and checked every few mins while running around the map. Try it again, hopefully it is not bugged as it is kind of annoying to get this one going.

Yes, we killed the Risen boss twice before Hekja and Bill ran for the sea and swam away. Jenny was downed so we found and revived her before she ran off as well. I’ve done a few sweeps of the island since, but they’re all still gone.

I am stumped, but hopefully it will get going eventually!
