Not sure if this is happening anywhere else, but people are excessively “target spamming” in the PvP Lobby. It shows up even if you’re not in their group, and you can’t block the messages from showing.

hmm, based on the color of it I would say they used emotes and not the normal targeting hotkey (those shows up in yellow if I’m right), not sure though.
Nope, the target appears over players heads. Here it is again today:
If we could get a developer to post on this to let us know that it’s being worked on, that’d be great. This has been happening since the latest PvP update.

Its not a bug, its members of your own party. First indication, the writing is in blue (they are colour coded) second indication the start of the lines begin with a P for Party.

I would agree with you, since I see it blueish colored and as well [P] in chat, but the last pic shows a player targeting and you can clearly see that player in the center with greenish nameplate, then not in their party… Even more weird…
Another thing, to OP. Reporting individuals about spam, exploit or anything else isn’t allowed in forums. Also I don’t believe it’s exactly a bug (that’s the purpose of this thread). Maybe you better using the in-game report tool (if possible, as I know emotes and stuff doesn’t allow you to get that menu. A suggestion here?) or if you maybe sending a mail to exploits@arena.net (since it may sound like some type of exploit or stuff as well).
The target spamming is driving me crazy. For those not aware, people NOT in my group can repeatedly call targets and it shows up in my chat window. People will spam targets nonstop, which renders chat useless. You can’t disable it from the default map chat tab.
