Guild Wars 2

If I weapon swap then quickly use a skill that should give me a ground targetter, the game instead autocasts the new weapon’s skill on my character’s current location without me clicking to target the ground. This is with “Disable Area of Effect Rings” off and “Ground Targeting” set to normal.

Edit: This bug was introduced with a patch at some point, probably last year. It was most noticeable as an Elementalist when attunement changing. I saw some complaints about it, but search returns no results.

I mained an ele for 1 year and this was the most annoying bug. It happened for me mostly when say being in air attunement using staff #4 for swiftness it would start auto-attacking especially if I switched elements. However I’m not sure this is a class thing alone. I play a guardian now and can’t have auto-attack on at all with my staff since I use shouts. Otherwise every time I use a shout I start auto-attacking everything in site. Usually it’s an angry deer or moa slowing my running speed and dragging me through the motions of being in combat.
