The game is completely unplayable because of the huge lag spikes.

I agree with this. There are lag issues with Dry Top on Tarnished Coast. I have witnessed lag during the sandstorm events. There is also skill bar lag that happens randomly. Sometimes, the wind aspect crystal doesn’t work when I push the button. People in my guild (AARM) have also mentioned that there are lag issues when they’re on the map.

In my case, I’ve put my graphics on the lowest settings, and I’m still experiencing lag.

I’ve also been getting 20-25 fps.

Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 5450
HDD: 2TB

Internet Provider: Comcast
Router: Linksys AC 1200
Modem: Wireless Gateway 1 (Model #TG862G) — This phone service / modem machine, and it’s required if one has Comcast’s phone service. The router part has been turned off by Comcast so I can use my private router instead.

Same problem on HoD, I can’t complete the first crystals jumps (lightning pull and light dash) because the skill lag is so bad, Lightning pull doesn’t carry me to the next rock. There is also plenty of rubberbanding. Brisban wildland din’t give me any noticeable lag, so it must be some problem with Dry Top. It was working fine yesterday on one of my character, but the lag came when I switched and stayed today

Same on Jade Quarry for me. Tested two different shards on Best Performance. With 175 FPS I’m experiencing rubber banding and flashing skill icons. First noticed this yesterday as I’ve been trying the Nochtli fight which is a complete mess from my experience.

It is literally unplayable, and that’s about the only conversation in map chat, if you’re patient enough to wait for the chat lag.

Also confirmed in Blackgate and SBI. Dry Top is completely unplayable. Skill lag, chat lag, rubberbanding, pretty much everything broken. Fix this so I can get my cheevies, Anet!!!!

Lag was bad last night, but NOTHING compared to today. I can’t even complete a single fight. I literally tap 1, wait five seconds. tap 2. Wait five seconds…. See my HP low, press 6. Wait five seconds… Ugh. There is no way to play in these conditions! No way AT ALL.

Anet, PLEASE fix this as soon as you can.

It’s nearly impossible to do leaps with the crystals due to the lag, which only exists in public. Everything’s fine for me in Dry Top instances.

You know it’s time to quit the map when you lose the crystal shard race against the inquest despite lots of people joining in, merely due to lag (which everyone suffered from).

SoR unplayable. skill lag, delayed jump etc blah blah.

Unhappy times. Unhappy.
