Teleport hack?
I’ve seen this happen too – in both Metrica Province and Caledon Forest, unfortunately they’ve been too fast for me to report them in-game for hacking. It seems as though the ‘bot’ that these accounts are using jumps between all interactive objects such as the new trees that were added to Caledon (Level 2 Renown Heart area) and not just the harvesting nodes themselves.
There has never even been a report feature for “hacking.”
The closest thing is “botting” which is not really even close.
There have been several occasions where I’ve wanted to report a player who was blatantly cheating, speedhack, flyhack, teleport hack, etc….. (I haven’t seen flyhacking any time recently btw so that might not even be a problem anymore)
Knocked players off the edge of the map in Skyhammer 4-5 times only to have them reappear next to me each time after watching them fall…. with witnesses on my team.
and there is no way to report them in-game.
If anet actually cared, there would be a “report for hacking” option under the report section. ….but its been this way since launch and they obviously would rather sift through reports of botting to keep item prices high and make players buy more gems/gold.
You can, and always have been able to, send reports of hacking/exploits to exploits@arena.net
I’m not sure how the Team ‘sifting through reports’ keeps item prices high or forces players to buy gold or gems, but…whatever. /shrug

I was basically saying if it doesn’t earn Anet money, they have no initiative to do it.
It has been something players have asked for since launch, and it has still yet to receive any attention.
Reporting gold sellers, however has initiated a response from anet.
(originally you were unable to report goldsellers’ mails….. but Anet added that feature, since it was hurting their cash/gem/gold profits.)

Upvoted.
Though there is no solid proof how Anet works with their cash… players can speculate it pretty well… given the fact that there are still tons of unfixed bugs with the core game mechanics that still are making ppl scream “wtffff…” imo, as a “Loyal” customer, I don’t need any more new features… just fix the game and ban those cheaters’ IPs for life please…
At one time, there were a lot of teleport-farm-bots that did exactly what the OP describes. They were thick in some maps. It can be very difficult to catch their ID and report them. They banned a lot of accounts at one point for this activity, and since then, I haven’t seen any more. If these teleport-farm-bots are showing up again, it may help to let ANet know which map you saw them on, which area of the map, and at what time of day.

Pretty much this.
They used to be exceptionally common for a brief time, and then went the way of the dodo bird.
This would indeed fall under the catergory of botting – players using a teleport hack to gather are almost certainly using an automated process en masse.
Arenanet tends to take this sort of thing very seriously.
For the toast!
And guess who uses such bot/hacks the most? Gold-sellers, so ArenaNet has every incentive to take care of them. They just recently removed 35,000 accounts, I believe.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.

Just… wow.. but a good thing if those were being misused.
