Been up to ‘Beat up Malchor’ for 117 hours. Malchor has not appeared. Event will not progress.

Game Bugs: Temple of Dwayna – Malchor not appearing

It was broken on 50% of the GW2 servers. All servers had reset since today’s update, but take caution that the bug is still producible.

It gets bugged when there are monsters still attacking Historian Vermoth after you kill the Priestess. Yes you can let the Historian tank because his hp never reaches 0. But when Priestess dies, Historian becomes vulnerable, so when risen are still attacking him after defeating priestess and historian’s hp reaches zero, he dies and it makes the event bugged sooooo make sure no one is attacking historian before you kill the priestess

Historian Vermoth would take a last hit after succeeding Defeat the Risen Priestess of Dwayna event, causing him to say “Retreat!” and disappear using cloak, stalling the whole chain event on the server instance until the game resets.

He’s supposed to go up to the dormant Statue of Dwayna, which would make Malchor appear, cry out to Dwayna, and disappear to continue the events.

The bug is similar to The Maw events where Scholar Brogun could die between events (which is fixed on the February 2013 update).

Currently as of now, no servers has the stalled event. I can post back hours later if a few servers has the stalled event.
