On Blackgate this event has starting bugging, thus making it impossible to continue the chain to the temple of grenth. I was wondering of other servers are having the same issue, or if my hunch is correct that someone is intentionally learned how to bug it, so it will spawn non-stop wraiths. Tactician footi will just dissappear, and once she is gone.. it doesnt stop spawning lvl 82-84 vet wraiths, and normal ones.

Not the only one. The same event appeared to have the same problem on Tarnished Coast today.

Ok this is a part of Arah opening being bugged. I’m on Gates of Madness watching people exploiting as wave after wave of mobs come in. Some people bragging that they’re making 5G/hr exploiting it and they’ve been doing it for 3 days?

Seriously? 3 Days? I’d think it was a customer sat issue with the bug at the very least, but not closing an exploit? Come on, Anet…

It’s part of the Grenth chain, not Arah, and it’s been like that on Blackgate for a week now. I’ve got literally dozens of people farming it on my server.

The event is bugged on the cannon part. I would just wait for a bug fix which is usually quick, but its been like this for days, ppls are farming like crazy, can that be fixed please?? Before economy crashes even more.

Seconded – Tactician Footi is not showing up to set up the cannon, the other NPC (Ambrose?) is a ways off northish, so only Jonez is even there AT the cannon, and it’s getting assaulted by Risen Pirates and Risen Wraiths in turn, and everybody is too busy enjoying the undead farm to report it. (They’ve taken to posting a Guild Magic Find banner at all times, seeing as I’ve seen one every time I passed by.)

Until this is resolved, the Temple of Grenth cannot be cleansed in Henge of Denravi.

I am on Ehmry Bay and I logged in 20 minutes after the Halloween patch hit. I was excited because I wanted to get the Grenth Temple Merchant. I ported over to find it bugged up already. The cannon setup is stuck at 50%. Patch Notes say it’s fixed, so either a new bug was introduced or these farmer and bot people know some special way to glitch tactician footi in the new build. All I can say is that farmers and botters seem to surround this event so i think they have something to do with it. I would just ban anyone who sits in that area for more than 3 hours. Or just make the mobs for the event drop nothing.

Here’s a screen shot of the stuck event on Ehmry Bay. I’ve seen the same characters bots and farmers using this broken event non stop over the last 3 days for it’s never ending waves of npcs. This issue was stated fixed with the patch notes last night.

This is completely untrue on Ehmry bay and it appears that these farmers want this event bugged so that they can farm the never ending spawn of mobs associated with the event. I mean it’s straight up suspicious that a large amount of people actually want this event broken and that it immediately broke after a patch that stated it was fixed. I think either people are directly exploiting software or in game exploits to break this event.

Up until this point farming and botting hasn’t effected my experience in the game. I am completely blocked off from doing the Grenth Temple Event so that I can purchase armor.

I have patience, but it’s wearing a little thin now that a patch that stated this would be fixed has failed to fix whatever the real problem is. Which I suspect to be exploiters that want this event broken.

This situation actually makes me feel outnumbered to the exploiters!

Last night’s patch notes list this as one of the event fixes:

— Fixed a bug preventing Tactician Footi from setting up her cannon in Cursed Shore.

I am not sure if this is the case on all servers, but the event is currently bugged on this step on the Dragonbrand server. Prior to yesterday’s patch, Footi would disappear and the event’s progress would be stuck at 0%. In the current build the event reached 98% before Footi mysteriously disappeared.

Hopefully this can be addressed soon, as it’s one of my favorite meta-events.

Footi bugged at the moment (October 23) in Jade Quarry. I have the Karma for my last two pieces of armor and cannot buy it because of this bug.

it works fine on piken’s. i transfered to gandara and there it’s broken. Just transfer guys.. or get usefull armor, the armor in orr looks the same anyway i hope you are not getting it for the stats :S

The Grenth event in curse shored is STILL bugged. Gets stuck on the building the cannon part.

Please, make your priority the only endgame zone bugs. It’s getting so ridiculous dealing with these bugs every week and seeing them not get fixed.

Whenever I go to curse shore, I usually want to go there for the event for Grenth, but I have been realizing that there is a part of the event where the cannon has to be built in order to continue forth to the next events of grenth, but for some reason, either the NCP is missing or the ncp isn’t building the cannon. It is getting to a point when the event breaks, the bots farm there. It is a massive bug where it is somewhat exploitable for fighting constant mobs. But the event itself doesn’t really work unless it somehow fixes itself or the server gets restarted. Either someone is causing this bug to create an exploit or one of the builds broke the script of the event.
