Temple of the Forgotten God (72) instance quest: disappearing essence

I retrieved the essence from one of the shrines and was about to place it into the sacred orb to unlock the next door. But in mid-combat, the essence disappeared and is no longer obtainable. Now I have to reset the whole instance and redo it. Hopefully it won’t happen on my next attempt because this quest takes a long time. This isn’t the first time I’ve had to reset an instance and redo the whole entire quest from the beginning because of some quest-breaking bug.

Yes I accidentally switch weapons and lost the third essence and have to restart the quest

it is annoying.

Same as above. happened on the third one as well

I had this issue as well on the 3rd encounter. Seems to be mostly thieves having problems with the quest, annoying to say the least.
