So i made a little video to show that u will not receive the speed buff from temporal Curtain as long u have the speed from signet of inspiration, seems that will not overwrite that, is a little frustrating at the min 1:30 u will see the best that i pass 3 4 times trough temporal curtain and the speed buff is not applied. The speed buff will only apply if u are not under the effect of speed from signet of inspiration.

You won’t receive swiftness for temporal curtain if you have swiftness from any source (including another mesmer’s curtain). That’s been true since launch and it’s apparently not a bug (just something deeply annoying to players who have mesmers).

Is really stupid then.. in www u receive all the speed(even if u have the buff speed from signet of inspiration) buff form all but not from your on speed buff.

Since the Mesmer was able to get as much speed as all the other classes (including those without signets) when the curtain stacked speed, Anet decided not to let it stack with anything else. This was done years ago.

Incident described above occurred in beta, I do not remember if right at release. Current behavior is intended, per dev responses prior… but oh so annoying… throw down a temporal curtain, guardian throws symbol of swiftness right on top of it or on top of you right before you run through it… congrats! you just got a short swiftness, your temporal curtain is wasted, and you just walked out of that symbol so you missed the additional stacks from it. Even if you had 0.2s of swiftness remaining the moment you cross it, you get nothing. I think it should just set your swiftness to it’s duration if you have less but… I think it will forever have this behavior.

Also, Veil stealth doesn’t stack with other sources. ANet hates mesmers.
