Not sure if others are experiencing the same, but this is the first time I’ve noticed, but interacting with the Tendril Torchers adventure flagpost in VB causes my 64-bit GW2 client to crash. I’ve recreated the situation and relogged and simply done this one action and it still crashes.

Of course, something else might be buggy causing this spurious result, but at least this is reproduceable for me.

I can confirm this game hard grash on 32 and 64 bit client. When I stand next to adventure flags and press F to start my game exits with crash dialog. I sent crash reports to arenanet.

Happened on tendril torchers, fallen masks, bugs in the branches, and beetle feast.

Crash report mentions missing textures.

Troubleshooting steps taken:
Update nvidia drivers
Gw2 -repair
32/64 bit client
Set all settings to default.

Cannot start any adventures.

Confirm this also.

First of all game should not crash (you should do a hotfix to disable it rather then have everyone loose 1-2 min cause of a bug). Then you should work on bug anet.

But just interacting POOF game crashed, wow. One of the worst crash bugs i’ve come across in gw2.

Yup, I can confirm this. Crashes on 32bit client as well.
I tried to repair the client, and oddly enough, the game doesn’t crash on Fallen masks adventure anmyore, but it still gives the same error and crashes on interacting with Tendril torchers adventure.

(EDIT: Error log seems to indicate that some ingame models are missing from the game? I don’t know what lines inside the log mean, obviously, but those same lines show up in every error log upon crash from other adventures as well, like Salvage pit.)
