Just now I was kicked from the server at tequatl (again) and when I reconnected I was in a half-dead overflow..
Why does the game not remember my position in a certain flow for a little while, it’s getting extremely frustrating by now.
I don’t mind the DC itself so much, the problem is that I lose tequatl entirely because I get thrown into a different (halfdead) overflow

Not as an automatism, no. I can see where you’re coming from, but I do not care one little bit to be stuck in a Tier 1 map of Dry Top just so you can do Tequatl. The actual solution would be to remember which instance you were in for something like a few minutes and then ask you when you’re logging back in if you want to return to the same instance or go into a different one. Even better, give me the option of showing me a list of all available instances. Mark and pre-select the one I was in, otherwise pre-select the one the automatic megaserver allocation algorithm would pick, but ultimately let me choose myself.

I must’ve misphrased that. Because that was exactly what I meant.

I find the importance of forming a party is not for loot, it’s for if you get disconnected during a fight. When you log back in to that character, you should be able to join your group on the same map.

You do realize that there was a ddos attack yesterday right around reset. About 5 to 10 mins after.

Assuming this is an easy fix to implement, I’m all for it. I don’t see any downside to returning people recently DC’d (5-8 min) back to the instance they were in. I’d even say it’s worth hard capping the map with 5-10 slots free, just to allow a few back in.

For now, as noted above, the work-around is to join a party; you’re automatically prioritized (within the hard cap) to get back in.
