I’ve done the Tequatl event 4 or 5 times consecutively, fulfilling the requirements for the Power Play achievement, and it still won’t unlock. I’ve gotten the event completion medals for each and I get 4 bouncy reward chests on Tequatl’s death. Is it bugged for me? Last achievement I need for Sunbringer title, so it’s getting frustrating.

“Make sure all 3 batteries stay alive during the defend the Megalaser & batteries event and kill Tequatl in the same attempt. Apparently you need to personally visit one battery at the 75% phase, another different battery at 50% and the third battery at the 25% phase. Once Tequatl is killed you will get the achievement. "

Yeah, that’s exactly what I’ve done. All 3 batteries stay up, and I go to a different one for each battery phase. Still no achievement. I’ve done it on multiple characters, and done different orders for the battery phases (E, N, W or N, W, E for example).

Is there a way to send an appeal or something for someone at ArenaNet to take a look?

Try to get credit for the “Defend the Megalaser” event during one of the phases as well. That means that in one battery phase you’ll need to hang around the middle long enough to get credit at the laser, then go to a battery and do enough there to get credit for it too.

With credit for all four separate events spread over the three battery phases, you should get your achievement.
