just got done beating Tequatl again and defended the west battery on 75%, north battery on 50% and east battery on 25% all with silver ranks and still got no achievement for it and which happens to be the last one i need to finish. So what gives?

Maybe I am doing something wrong but I have been trying for Powerplay for a while now. I try to make sure that I get credit at each point but just like the guy above it never seems to result in the achievement. I have also seen many mention this in map chat after fights too.

If you really received the rewards of every battery event, then it must be a bug.

It wouldn’t surprise me. I also needed quite some time to get the Watch Your Step! achievement, even though I wasn’t even near a bloated creeper during all my attempts (of course successful fights)…

It’s sad that the achievements are bugged in an event where each attempt costs about 30-60 minutes preparation + ~20 min fight. Especially if it’s an achievement where you actually have to kill Tequatl…

Same here, got rewards for every battery event and no achievement. Filed a bug report on this in game. I hope this gets fixed as, like most people who work full time and can only play a bit at night, I can only do 1 or 2 tries a day and most of them fail because of the unorganised overflow attempts. And if I want to do 1 or 2 tries, I can’t do much else because I can’t leave the zone while waiting for respawn. Please, ANet, unbug these boss achievements! Killing the dragon is hard enough, it’s quickly getting frustrating when getting a deserved achievement is as RNG-based as getting a precursor from the mystic forge.

Still bugged apparently….got rewards for every battery events, gold ranks everytime, and no achievement….
It’s already complicated to get into a server that can kill Teq because of the overflows + the waiting, it’s so frustrating, I can’t get the title because of that….please fix that asap !

Having the same problem. I even tried hanging around until the timer ran out at each of the 3 batteries (one per wave, didn’t go near the other 2), and then tried getting bronze credit on all 3 in each wave (major pain in the kitten , and a huge waste of time apparently), and still nothing.

Is there some kind of secret hidden order we need to do them in to get credit, or is it just bugged and random?

No achievement.

Same here! Just complet all 3 batteries with gold, kill Tequatl , and still no achievement! 3 years, and still no bug fix! WTF Arena.net?
