Guild Wars 2

So, lately I’ve left my Charr Warrior camped at Tequatl just to do a once-a-day kill of the guy for the chest. Except, well, lately when I kill him AFTER Daily reset for the first time (so stop telling me to not kill him more than once a day people, because I KNOW that part of it), he does NOT drop a chest. At all. I’ve had a gold participation medal on it numerous times, but the chest does not exist. It is not simply “unloaded” and capable of looting, I do NOT get to access and loot the chest.

It’s happened about five times now for me, and as of writing this, I’ve had the problem two days in a row. So far, it has been “no chest, chest, no chest, no chest, chest, no chest, no chest” as to how it goes for Tequatl fights.

I don’t get what’s going on or why I keep being unable to loot the chest, but I’d sorta like this to fix so it’s worthwhile to even do Tequatl :\

What time in the day are you doing it? They pushed back the reset time an hour due to daylight saving time, so maybe that’s what is throwing you off.

I’m doing it in the time frame after the Daily resets and shows back up on my UI. That’s what I mean by “daily reset” when that shows back up

Similar issue for me. I did the event a week ago and got gold, but no chest appeared. I figured that I must have done it recently and therefore didnt get the chest. So I stopped doing the event for a while but then today I tried again, got gold, and again no chest.

There is something going wrong…
